Mellow Yellow Smilies

These smiley faces are a labor of love. With recycled sterling silver scraps from my studio, I melted and poured round ingots. I beat them flat with a two pound hammer, and didn't anneal or soften the metal, so the edges would crack. I drew their cute little faces directly on the metal, pierced and sawed out their little grins one by one. I filed and strummed each sweet little face. I lighted sanded their surfaces and soldered on a large jump ring. 
 
Each seed bead necklace is 24" long. I can swap out to a 16" curb chain as shown in the last two photos, for no additional charge.
 
Each face is approx 1" around. Each face weighs approx .33 troy oz. Jump ring is 7mm so they are easily changed to almost chain you have! 
 
Faces are solid recycled sterling silver. Stamped on the back with my makers mark and 925. Seed beads are Czech glass with sterling silver lobster clasp and findings.
